That sounds rotten, only the Japanese would be made enough to drink it! :)

Doesn't it? A cream soda type thing woulda been nicer :-)

yogurt soda is peculiar to Japan, but I've tried it before and it's actually quite nice. I wouldn't say it tastes like yogurt per se... More like a carbonated cultured milk drink.

agreed with Tibz. Yogurt flavored softdrinks really aren't unusual there, and there are a number of varieties you can find in asian supermarkets while in america or other western countries. Look out for calpico brand drinks next time you go and pick one up, that's my favorite yogurt drink I've found anyways.

Tibz, I'm trying to imagine what that possibly tastes like mixed with pepsi :-)

MorvyJ, I've had yoghurt drinks but not mixed with a soft drink. Is it still fizzy?

ive had a similar drink to the one you described. and id say that the "yoghurt flavour" is quite misleading. it tastes more like carbonated yakult. and its actually quite nice. doesnt taste like yoghurt at all (thank goodness)...

I have a thirst on me today. I'd drink it.
