I would like to try the chocolate experiment :-P
Also nutmeg is a narcotic, some of those people who followed the recipe with the typo might be hooked now :-|
Me too! :)
AFAIK Nutmeg is a mild hallucinogen and you would have to ingest bucketloads of the stuff to get much of an effect which is unlikely due to the taste of it!
Wikipedia says A risk in any large-quantity (over 25 g, ~5 teaspoons) ingestion of nutmeg is the onset of 'nutmeg poisoning', an acute psychiatric disorder marked by thought disorder, a sense of impending doom/death, and agitation. Some cases have resulted in hospitalization.
Oh. It doesn't sound that much fun...I'll stick to the chocolate.
yeh, me too :)
Nutmeg - Is that why everyone likes custard tarts even though they are actually disgusting?
i bought a tesco finest rice pudding and it was covered in nutmeg, i nearly barfed.
Gary: Not quite everyone, I hate them too. :)
