Pink Floyd was one of the greatest bands ever. They were spaced out but yeah thats what made them special. David Gilmour rocks at so does Roger....NIce Wallpapers.
Thanks for the comment.
They are one of my favourite bands if not my most favourite. I've had the pleasure of seeing them live at Earls Court, London back in 1994, I think.
Best gig I've ever been to by anybody.
Ok I'm am a diehard fan of Pink Floyd (i have all they're albums on vinyl) and I just wanted to say how great all of the wallpapers were thank-you
You're welcome.
I've got all the albums on CD, great stuff.
hey i seen pink floyd the odda day on live 8 an they fukin rked !!!!!!!! an i love grn dy too lol
Hey,
Man i love the Floyd, id do anything to see them live. Im 25 none of my mates have even heard of them it makes me sick !!! Long live real music !!!!
It's a shame you never caught them at Live 8 as that is probably the last time they will play.
As I said I saw them about 10 years ago and they were very old then so it's unlikely that they will be up to touring again.
One of my mates who came with me in '94 also saw them at Maine Road in the 80's and another friend saw them at Newcastle Odeon in 1969. I was'nt even born then!
Thanks for the *good* images to use as wall paper. I saw PF In Arizona USA in 1988. It was lovely warm summer night, people actually SAT DOWN most of the show. The pig didnt fly too good, but the burning bed was way cool as was the last few oncores. the last sets were lit up by rotating bars/ horizontal banks of blinding white lights. Extreme creativity and A big ten on the way cool scale. Great Gig in the sky had about a 10 minute solo by 3 fabulous female singers taking turns...made me shiver and get that 'religious' feeling, though Im an agnostic and dont smoke that nice smelling stuff, it was a heaven experience to outrank any concert ever. Wish you were there.

Wow! What a description. Reading that made me feel like I was there.
I think that would have been the Momentary Lapse Of Reason tour which one of my mates seen in Manchester. Apparently that tour was very similar to the gig i attended in '94 except for a few almost new songs when I seen them.
We still had the massive solo of GGitS and the pig flew well. There was also a flying plane which was really good and the lasers were unreal.
If anyone gets a chance you should watch Pulse as that was filmed a couple of nights before I went to one of the 17 or so gigs in London over a few weeks. I seem to remember that some temporary seating collapsed at one of the shows just a couple of days before we went which made me a little nervous about going. For 2 minutes :)
A real experience.
alright..... cool...tanx
Pink Floyd is really the best band ever, and i dont think ill ever get sick of listening to them. Id' say the majority of the people are distracted by the newer albums like Dark Side of the Moon, and the Wall... All their albums are really good even from the 1960's, id say my favorite ones are from the 60's and 70's
ive never seen the floyd only becaues i am 14 and they are much older then me, i would do anything to see them live but that will never happen so i just sit back and leson. not many teens my age leson to them because "there to old" or "Rap is better" well i say you dont what your talking about.
and I would like to thank my mother she like them and then i got to love them more then ever
well never stop loving the pink floyd. just keep roking!
Nice pics.

Man Pink Floyd is one of the most successful bands in history from darkside being on the charts for nearly 750 weeks! To " The Wall" selling over 23 million copies. Pink Floyd really defines our culture, there lyrics are so true and if you dont believe me go buy a album and see for yourself !!
Thanks for your comment but if you were talking to me I already own them all.
Even the Final Cut!!

ok, thanks again..
I saw the Floyd in 1992 at the Vet Stadium in Phila., Pa. The Division Bell Tour. It was the "Greatest show on earth!" When they played Comfortably Numb, I thought the stadium was going to lift off. They had a crystal ball the size of a house with white lights shining on it while the ball was spinning!

It was The Division Bell tour that I saw too. Great stuff.
I love Pink Floyd and I have worn out their Animals and The Wall cassette tapes! Now, I have their CD just like everybody else and I've made 5 copies out of every PF albums I have (I have a complete set from Pipers to the recent Roger Waters concert..
I'm sure some of you know, but just in case there are two films Pink Floyd did soundtracks to as well. They are "Obscured By Clouds", and "More". Just mentioned it for those who didn't know.
